CONSULTATION FAQs

It is a relaxed conversation where we get to know each other. We learn about your travel goals, who you are traveling with, and what kind of experience you are hoping to have. You can ask questions, share ideas, and decide if working together feels like the right fit.

Please note: No specific itinerary building, destination details, or planning research will take place during this initial session.

Because travel is our full-time lifestyle and career, a virtual video call is the most efficient, flexible way to connect face-to-face (no travel needed on your end!). We are often on the road with reliable WiFi, bringing that global perspective directly to you.

Nothing formal. It is helpful to have a general idea of when you would like to travel like which month of the year, where you are thinking about going, and who will be joining you, but the consultation is meant to feel easy, not like homework.

Please bring all decision-makers as their input guarantees we design the trip everyone will love.

Most consultations last around 30 to 45 minutes. That gives us enough time to talk through your ideas, explore possibilities, and outline next steps without feeling rushed.

No. The consultation is simply a chance to connect and see if our planning style aligns with what you are looking for. If you decide to move forward, we will explain the process clearly. If not, you still leave with helpful guidance and clarity.

Great question! We run a travel agency, and let’s be honest: it is not for everyone and that is exactly how we want it.

We thrive when helping clients who:

If you have very flexible dates and just want the cheapest deal possible, want us to check if this package/deal you found looks legitimate or is a good price, or you already booked your Airbnb but need help to plan flights, activities, and transfers around it, or are comparing several agents to get the lowest price…we are happy to suggest DIY tools or other options that fit better.

If we are a good fit, we will outline the planning process and timelines. A $50 deposit during or right after the consult locks in your spot and kicks off the magic! The remaining amount is due at a time we both agree on before we start any work.

You will purchase a Planning Package or Expedited Planning Package and will also be asked to complete a Client Agreement. Once completed, we will get to work and begin designing a trip that reflects your family, your priorities, and the kind of experience you want to create. We will then send your first customized proposal via email.

After the proposal is sent, we will notify you via text message to ensure you received it and to schedule a day and time to review the proposal, make any adjustments, and address any questions or concerns.

Once the proposal is approved, a Credit Card Authorization Form is required to collect the deposit for your trip. After payment is processed, you will receive an email confirmation confirming your trip is officially booked and a separate email with what to expect in the next couple of months or year(s) until your trip!

We design our planning packages to remove hesitation:

  • The non-refundable fee secures your custom plan with up to three revisions for one destination.
  • Full future credit protection: If this trip does not get booked by placing a deposit within 30 days of final itinerary delivery, your fee becomes a credit for any future travel with us (usable within 6 months for the same destination).
